Jack
Jack is one of the finest guitarists in the tri-state area. His mastery of the guitar is as much a visual experience as it is an auditory delight. Jack’s seemingly effortless playing has entranced audiences for decades in some of the best rock rooms in the city while working with the areas top bands. Now with his own band, Flashback, Jack adds his captivating lead vocal ability to the mix to produce a sound many people cannot believe comes from three piece band.
Jack pays tribute to many great guitarists every time he plays. Some of these include Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neal Schon, Joe Perry, and many more.
Kevin
Kevin is an all around outstanding musician who sings, plays guitar, bass, and keyboards. Kevin currently adds the “bottom line” to Flashback as the bass player and shares some of the vocal leads with Jack. His experience goes back many years and has witnessed a variety of musical styles. All in all, however, Kevin likes the power and pure pleasure of good ‘ole classic rock. He continues to cite the Beatles as one of the main reasons he decided to become a rock-and-roll musician.
Kevin and Jack are also responsible for the technical wizardry of the band. The lights and sound mix can be attributed to their “good ears” and technical experience.
Rich
Rich has been playing drums for over 30 years in some of the finest clubs in the Delaware Valley, and he still has his chops. Most of his work has been with outstanding “cover” bands that played various styles of music from high energy rock & roll, to dance music, to classic rock. Other work has included original bands, jazz groups, and the recording studio. He is experienced on acoustic, as well as electronic drum kits. Rich also sings some lead vocals and provides harmony that contributes to a rich vocal blend.
Rich’s major influences are classic rock and jazz drummers such as Buddy Rich, Steve Smith, John Bonham, Steve Gadd, Dave Weckl, and Charlie Adams. “I like to draw a little bit from all the great drummers, and then infuse my own style to make it work for the band.”
